A popular Socialite and Chairman of Aquilla Group, Chief Shina Peller, has confirmed that pressures have been mounting on him to join the politics and contest election into position but had been resisting such pressures.
He said: “for now, my business is my priority, although I have been receiving pressures from people from every corner to get involved in politics but I’m yet to make up my mind.”
Shina Peller, who was a guest at Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo state chapter, Ibadan recently, said that his people wanted him to take advantage of his popularity and influence in the state for politics.
The Iseyin-born philatropist said: “my popularity didn’t just start today. It has always been my desire to do everything I can in whatever capacity to assist people and encourage younger ones even from my days as a student at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso.” [myad]
