Egbira Native Clothe Weaver, Oziowowa, Launches Products In Abuja

A young lady who specializes in weaving all kinds of native Egbira clothes, from Kogi State, Onyijimoh Momoh Ahuoyiza Oziowowa has launched the clothes in Abuja, Nigeria nation’s Federal Capital.
At the occasion today, April 30, Oziowowa said that she can weave clothes in different colours and sizes and for different purposes. She said that she learned weaving at a tender age and has been getting the patronage of both Egbira people and non natives across the world.
The weaving artist said that the aim of launching the clothes is to create more awareness amongst the people in Nigeria and abroad, adding that she has concluded plans to establish a structure in the Federal Capital city to carry on with the weaving in large scale.
Oziowowa, who said that part of the business would include training centre for the training of young ones and even the older ones that are interested in clothes weaving, sought the support of well-meaning Egbira and none Egbira people in and outside the country to carry out her plans successfully.

“I hope to take the culture of Egbira people through the weaving and marketing of the native clothes to international level. With the support and patronage of my immediate constituency, I will reach the desired goal.”
