The House of Representatives has passed 2017 Budget with an addition of N143 billion over and above the N7.441 trillion which President Muhammadu Buhari presented before a joint session of the National Assembly on December 14 last year.
The 2017 Appropriation Bill was presented to the House by the Chairman of its Committee on Appropriation, Mustapha Dawaki before it was passed.
The House had suspended the business of the day and dissolved into the committee of supply for the consideration and passage of budget with its 12 attached clauses.
Members however protested the N84.7 billion Recurrent and Capital budget of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). [myad]
