President Goodluck Jonathan has kicked out Alhaji Kabiru Mashi as Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). Mashi has been acting Executive Chairman of the agency since 2012.
A two-paragraph statement today from special adviser on media and publicity to the President, Dr. Reuben Abati did not give reasons for the sack of Mashi.
He however said that one Mr. Samuel Ogungbesa has been appointed to occupy the same position which Mashi lost.
Until his elevation today, Ogungbesan was the Coordinating Director at FIRS.
