The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Umar Garba Danbatta is scheduled to speak on the new 5G network and how it would profit Nigeria in service delivery at the Beacon of Information and Communication Technology (BoICT) lecture series scheduled for July 24 this year.
According to the NCC Director of Public Affairs, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, the chief telecom regulator of Nigeria will be addressing issues centered around how 5G technology will be improving service delivery to consumers when fully deployed by operators.
The Executive Officer and Editor-In-Chief of Communication Week Media Limited which is organizing the event, Ken Nwogbo, said that the choice of the theme for the lecture series is based on the need to address the conspiracy theory against the technology as well as explore enormous benefits of the 5G in delivery quality telecommunications services.
