Many worshippers, including foreigners were feared dead in the Synagogue church in Lagos when the 5-storey building housing the church collapsed. The incidence occurred at about 2pm today at Ikotun, Lagos. The church is owned by Pastor T. B. Joshua.Reports reaching us showed that most of those who died in the collapse building lodged in building which is owned by the Church.
The affected building is said to be reserved for foreigners visiting the Church to seek spiritual help.
The reports showed that three ambulances which came for rescue were filled with dead bodies of those who died in the incident.
Although the building is already occupied, sources said that there is ongoing construction on top to provide more accommodation for worshippers.
