Former Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh has landed a plum with Fortuna Sittard, a Dutch side, as the club’s new manager.
Oliseh succeeds Ben van Dael at Fortuna Sittard Stadium, having earned just five wins from 19 games this season.
The owner of the Club, Isitan Gün, sai via the club website:
“With Sunday chooses Fortuna a coach who is young and ambitious, vision and where players look up to.
“We were looking for someone who plays attractive football combined with the sheer will to win. In Sunday we think we found this trainer.
“The past few days he has already watched all the matches of Fortuna, so Sunday from January 2 is well prepared to begin his work.”
Fortuna is 18th on the Dutch second division log with 15 points from 19 matches and will tackle Achilles 29 in their next game on January 13, 2017. [myad]
