Buhari Had Credits In 5 WASC Subjects In 1961, Nigeria Army Clears The Air

Director of Army Public Relations, Olajide Laleye
Director of Army Public Relations, Olajide Laleye

Nigeria Army has finally cleared the air on the controversies surrounding the school certificate of the Presidential candidate candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, saying that he obtained the West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1961 with credits in relevant subjects: English Language, Geography, History, Health Science, Hausa and a pass in English Literature.
At a press briefing today, the Director of the Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Olajide Laleye said that records available indicate that Major General M Buhari applied to join the military as a Form Six student of the Provincial Secondary School, Katsina on 18 October 1961. He said that Buhari’s application was duly endorsed by the Principal of the school, who also wrote a report on him and recommended him to be suitable for military commission.
“It is a practice in the NA that before candidates are shortlisted for commissioning into the officers’ cadre of the Service, the Selection Board verifies the original copies of credentials
that are presented. However, there is no available record to show that this process was followed in the 1960s.
“Nevertheless, the entry made on the NA Form 199A at the point of documentation after commission as an officer indicated that the former Head of State obtained the West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1961 with credits in relevant subjects: English Language, Geography, History, Health Science, Hausa and a pass in English Literature. Neither the original copy, Certified True Copy (CTC) nor statement of result of Major General M Buhari’s WASC result is in his personal file.
“I hope this explanation will put to rest the raging controversy surrounding the secondary school credentials of Major General Mohammed Buhari as it affects the Nigerian Army.”
Major General Olaleye made it clearly that the Nigerian Army holds the retired senior officer in very high esteem and respect and would not be a party to any controversy surrounding General Buhari’s eligibility for any political office.
He said that Buhari rose steadily to the enviable rank of Major General before becoming the Head of State of Nigeria in December 1983, adding that the media hype on retired Major General Buhari’s credentials as well as the numerous requests made by individuals and corporate bodies to the Nigerian Army on this issue necessitated that the provision of the facts as contained in the retired senior officer’s service record.
Meanwhile Buhari has scheduled to speak to Nigerians and the world tomorrow, about the controversies that have dogged his educational certificate and health status.
A statement from the Director of Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Mallam Garab Shehu which described Governor Ayodele Fayose as errand boy of the power-that-be in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said that General Buhari will address a press conference tomorrow morning in Kano to address the issue of the certificate.
Also the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO) has dismissed the rebuttal by the Peoples Democratic Party over the distasteful front page newspaper advertorial by Governor Ayo Fayose, promoting a death wish on General Muhammadu Buhari.
A statement from the Directorate of Media and Publicity of the APC presidential campaign today said that the denial of PDP advertorial signed by Governor Ayodele Fayose by Femi Fani-Kayode, is “merely a case of a master dissociating himself from the errand boy after the message had backfired.”
According to the APC Campaign, the response of the ruling party is “too casual and off-handed to impress anyone. It doesn’t sound convincing. The PDP needs to take this issue more seriously to underscore its commitment to the sustenance of Nigeria’s democracy and the non-violence pact entered into by the party and its presidential candidate.”
The statement, signed by the Director of Media and Publicity of the APCPCO, Mallam Garba Shehu says further that: “It is very irresponsible for the PDP to want to distance itself from the death threat to General Buhari, made by not only a sitting governor of the PDP but also a high ranking member of the PDP Presidential Campaign Committee.
“Just in case the PDP had forgotten, what was Fani-Kayode thinking in his mind when he challenged General Buhari to make a jog round a field? Was it to put him through a body fitness workout or to plant a sniper somewhere around the field?
“Whatever the intention of the PDP was, about the health status of General Buhari, we in the APC Campaign believe in the exclusivity of the divine role in the matters of life and death.
“It is not difficult for Nigerians to discern what the PDP odd intention towards the APC and its presidential candidate is. The PDP’s uncivilised death plot only exposes the mindset of the party and their cohorts.
“That the PDP can place such noxious campaign advertorial into the public domain, in a desperate attempt to promote an incompetent incumbent president is tantamount to PDP’s tradition of violence and victimization, as well as an eloquent commentary on how President Goodluck Jonathan runs his administration.”
The APC Presidential Campaign Organization restated its request for an independent investigation into the PDP threat against its presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari to ensure the safety of Buhari and a free and fair election on February 14. [myad]

False Prostate Cancer News On Buhari: The Loop-Holes In The Two Request Forms

ABU Teaching Hospital
These are some of the loop-holes my “aging brain” noted in the two purported forms aimed at deceiving Nigerians not to support the candidature of Muhammadu Buhari.

I hope our eyes will continue to shine so that those with “POLITICAL CARCINOMA” will not continue
deceiving us. Ameen.
LOOP-HOLES ON THE PATHOLOGY REQUEST FORM

1. The pathology request form has the name of a hospital called AHMADU BELLO TEACHING HOSPITAL which cannot be the same with the one in Nigeria. The real hospital in Nigeria is widely known as
AHMADU BELLO “UNIVERSITY” TEACHING HOSPITAL (ABUTH).
2. The logo printed on the alleged request form is that of the AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY (ABU) and not that of ABUTH. Teaching hospitals bearing the name of a university located in the same city/place do not
usually share the same logo. Just these misnomers are enough to tell any sensible individual that it was a fake “report/news” about Buhari’s health status.
3. General Muhammadu Buhari (GMB) was once a head of state in Nigeria. He is a retired general in the Nigerian Army. He has been a presidential aspirant from 2003 till date. These are few of the social
statuses that should warrant GMB to, at least, be admitted in an amenity or VIP ward of any hospital in Nigeria not to talk of ABUTH (or ABTH if the name of the purported hospital on the form is to be
abbreviated). And he should have been seen by a consultant surgeon (if not even a senior consultant surgeon) before the requests were made. But looking at the purported request form, we will realize that
despite Buhari’s numerous social statuses, he was admitted into a MALE SURGICAL WARD and was seen by “one” DR. BELLO YA’U who may be a “ghost” doctor if the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
(MDCN) will be asked to confirm if that Dr. Ya’u really exists.
4. I’m not a hospital record/health information system personnel but even as it is 669,423,700 cannot be Buhari’s HOSPITAL NUMBER as ABUTH, since inception, could not have registered over six million
patients. I stand to be corrected.
5. No good medical doctor will spell PROSTATIC as PROSTALTIC. But that is not even my concern. Assuming it was correctly spell PROSTATIC INTRA-EPITHELIAL NEOPLASIA (PIN) cannot be
secondary to prostate carcinoma (cancer) as PIN itself is a form of carcinoma. Perhaps, the requesting doctor did not pass pathology in his/her medical school.
6. The two query (??) signs in front of the carcinoma are nothing but additives to the requesting doctor’s level of ignorance because they are not supposed to be there. Even if they are, they should have been
written before the prostate carcinoma.
7. On the form we could see DATE ISSUED as 20/10/2014 and a signature below that date. Does it mean that a REQUEST FORM has metamorphosized into a REPORT FORM? In a standard hospital, more
so a teaching hospital, clinical reports/findings are not written on the same request forms. The PATHOLOGIST’s name seems to be missing on the form too.
LOOP-HOLES ON THE CHEMICAL PATHOLOGY REQUEST FORM

1. As on the pathology request form above.
2. As on the pathology request form above.
3. Some of the issues are as on the pathology request form above.

In addition, we will notice that Buhari is not just DR. BELLO YA’U’s patient but also that of DR. GAMJI A. (perhaps because ABUTH bears the name of GAMJI the late Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir AHMADU BELLO).
Dr. Gamji A may also be a “ghost” doctor if the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) will be asked to confirm him/her.
4. as on the pathology request form above. And I don’t know when UNIT NUMBER became synonymous with HOSPITAL NUMBER that 669,423,700 appeared under unit number.
5. The two query (??) signs are seen to be in front of PROSTATIC CARCINOMA.
6. The space/row for DATE REPORTED seems to be carrying information that are not supposed to be there (PSA = 13ng/ml >80% suggestive of Prostate Ca), perhaps, for emphasis sake.
NB: These are just few of the loop-holes in the two forms that will warrant them to be fake written by one ignorant “doctor” that wished to drag the medical profession’s name in the mud.
I pray that my non-doctor friends will understand some of the medical terminologies I used. [myad]

Unprecedented Crowd Welcomes Buhari To Kano, Chanting “Baba Oyoyo”

Buhari crowd
An unprecedented crowd, today, ushered Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buharu into Kano, capital of Kano state, renting the air with chants: “sai Buhari, Baba Oyoyo.”
General Buhari, along with the APC national and state leaders, held the rally at Sani Abacha Stadium inside the Kano city. The rally was described by political observers as the largest crowd yet gathered in support of any candidate in this republic.
The streets of Kano were lined by the supporters who had taken positions to catch a glimpse of the Presidential hopeful, Buhari.
Present at the rally were, among others, General Buhari’s running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the party’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Director General for the campaign, Governor Rotimi Amaechi; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal.
Presenting the party’s aspirant to the enthusiastic supporters on the
ground, Tambuwal said: “I want to tell you that God is with us, for He has given us Buhari who will end corruption in Nigeria…. If you come out and vote for us, by God’s grace, we will achieve all we have set to do.”
General Buhari, overwhelmed by the mammoth gathering, snaked his way onto the podium and addressed the supporters in Hausa, reaffirming his
commitment to restoring security, power supply, education and infrastructure.
He also spoke on the vital importance of collecting permanent voter cards and ensuring they defended their votes.
He asked the voters to “ensure you stay behind and defend your votes.”
General Buhari told his exhilarating supporters to vote en-mass for all the APC candidates.
The General moved the campaign train to Dutse, the capiital of Jigawa State. [myad]

Ekiti Leaders Disown Fayose’s Advertisement Proposing “Death” For Buhari, Ask Punch, Sun Newspapers To Apologise

Ayo-Fayose
Leaders of Ekiti, under the auspices of EKITIPANUPO, has openly disowned and condemned the front pade advertisement which the state governor, Ayodele Fayose placed in the Punch and Daily Sun newspapers of Monday, January 19, 2015.
“On the 19th of January, 2015, members of Ekitipanupo Forum saw the advertisement placed by the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Ayodele Fayose in the Punch and Daily Sun newspapers. We are bewildered by the fact that this appalling and disgraceful advertisement emanated from our Land of Honour.”
In a statement today, signed by the General Secretary, Kunle Oladele, Ekitipanupo, an Indigenous think-tank and intellectual roundtable, advocating selfless governance of Ekiti people declared: “like all well-meaning Nigerians, the overwhelming majority of Ekiti people are offended by this advertisement and hold the belief that the advertisement is in a bad taste.”
The group, representing Ekiti people home and abroad said: “we state categorically that the advertisement spoke only the minds of the governor whose actions we cannot control, his cabinet members and those of the newspapers that published it.
“Ekitipanupo declares that Ekiti people wish no harm to General Muhammadu Buhari or any other aspirant whatsoever.
We pray to God that has blessed Nigeria with him, to spare his life, grant him all his wishes that will benefit him both in this world and hereafter.”
The all-inclusive  preeminent Ekiti forum
further declared: “We hold in high esteem, all ethnic groups of our great country, Nigeria, especially all our brothers and sisters in the North Western Nigeria, that have produced many of our past leaders that served this country gallantly, some of whom have made the ultimate sacrifices in their services to the country.
“Ekiti people do appreciate these heroes and will forever remember their families in our prayers. Moreover, we believe Nigeria is a country where people of all faiths have and will live together in harmony. The good people of Ekiti State
subscribe to peaceful co-existence of all faiths and we live by this belief and continue to enjoy peaceful collaboration between all religious groups of the state.”
The group called on the publishers of what it called “the distasteful advertisement,” the Punch and the Daily Sun, to in their next three issues, dedicate their entire Front Pages to an apology to all Nigerians.
“Or we might be forced to ask our Ekiti compatriots to boycott any of the products of these careless newspapers.
“Finally, on behalf of well-meaning Ekiti indigenes we tender an unreserved apology to all Nigerians who have been offended by the said advertisement.
Ekitipunupo is being driven by sincere Ekiti indigenes, and for Ekiti people. [myad]

Babangida To Buhari: We’ll All Support You To Salvage Nigeria, As Niger Deputy Governor Defects To APC

Ibrahim Babangida

Former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida has assured the Presidential candidate of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari that all the retired Generals would support him to win the February 14 Presidential election in an effort to salvage Nigeria. This is even as the Niger State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Ibeto, and over 200 political office holders have defected from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to APC.

Speaking while receiving Buhari who visited him in Minna, Babangida said: “all of us will support you in this course to salvage this country.”
He said that the APC’s candidate’s doggedness in sacrificing to salvage Nigeria would not be lost.

“I wish to congratulate members of the party for the honour of nominating my colleague, General Muhammadu Buhari, as your presidential candidate in 2015 elections’’.

He said that the he and Buhari fought the battle to keep Nigeria indivisible, adding that such traits were attributes of patriots.

Earlier, Buhari said that the APC would commence a salvation crusade in Niger, adding that the calibre of people in APC in the state was a testimony.

He thanked Babangida for the support and cameraderie he had enjoyed over the years and assured him that Nigeria was on the verge of change.
He said that APC was set to take over the state with the calibre of the candidates presented for various offices and the quality of those that decamped from the ruling PDP.

The Niger Deputy Governor, told newsmen in Minna: “I am on my way to welcome our party leader and presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, at Minna Airport for his campaign rally in Niger State.”

Ibeto attributed his defection to injustice melted out him and other contestants in the state party primaries, describing the exercise as flawed and stage-managed to favour anointed candidates.

“The electoral process that threw up Alhaji Umar Nasko as PDP governorship candidate was not in accordance with the PDP electoral law and the constitution.

“It is true we are defecting to APC because the primaries conducted were not in accordance wirth the PDP constitution. Myself and other aggrieved party members decided to petition the National Headquaters of the party on the outcome of the governorship primaries with a view to addressing the obvious injustice but met a brickwall.

“We were expecting justice from the party’s national office but nothing was forthcoming, hence we decided to join the APC.”

He however appealed to his supporters to be law abiding and not to make politics a do-or-die battle.

Among those who defected from PDP alongside the deputy governor are serving members of National Assembly, members of State’s House of Assembly, former commissioners and former local governments chairmen. [myad]

Sultan Of Sokoto Yet To Get Permanent Voter Card, Gives Jonathan Marching Order On Credible Elections

Sultan (2)

The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III has said that he is yet to get the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Permanent Voters Card, (PVC) few weeks to the 2015 general elections, even as he urged President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure that the elections are credible.

The Sultan, who welcome President Jonathan to his palace today, as the former paid him courtesy visit before he commenced his campaign in Sokoto town expressed fears that there are millions eligible voters who might end up not getting their PVCs before the election

The Sultan asked President Jonathan to ensure that INEC provides all eligible voters with their cards, even as he also asked the  President to ensure that government takes every steps to respect the peoples wishes and deliver credible, free and fair elections.

“Let’s respect people’s wishes, let’s not try to disenfranchise anybody. We have had issues of the Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) and I want to tell you that even myself, I don’t have a PVC, so it means I will not vote on 14th February.

“So, we have to look for a way out, it is for your government to now look for what to do, how to ensure that all  the cards get to the voters before the voting day or in the alternative, find a way out because in any problem there is a solution and we believe you will find solution as regard this very serious hitch facing us because millions of Nigerians seem to be heading towards disenfranchisement and they won’t be able to vote but I have heard comments from the INEC Chairman, we are still waiting for our cards to come.”

The Sultan said the difficulties by many Nigerians to obtain the PVC is a source of worry and other leaders, adding that this might lead to millions of Nigerians being disenfranchised during this year’s general elections. [myad]

APC Accuses PDP Of Planning To Kill Buhari, Calls For International Probe

buhari
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised alarm over what it called the plan by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), through their surrogates to eliminate its Presidential flag bearer, General Muhammad Buhari.
The APC Presidential Campaign Council, in a statement today, drew the attention of the public to the PDP’s wrap-around front-page paid advertisements in some national dailies, saying that it was bewildered by plans of the PDP and their surrogates for plotting the death of Buhari ahead of the February 14 presidential poll.
“The APC Presidential Campaign Council has called for an international inquiry into the plot to kill Buhari because of the danger it poses to Nigeria’s unity and democracy and by extension the stability of the West African sub-region.
“The insinuation that the leader of Nigeria’s Opposition should or may die ahead of the February 14 presidential polls is not only morbid and fatalistic, but drips of desperation and represents the pinnacle of political paranoia on the part of the incumbent government which has run out of favour with the populace after nearly six years of lacklustre performance,” the APC Presidential Campaign Council said.
The Council describes as distasteful, the paid advertisement by PDP Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, titled “Life and Death and Enough of State Burials…”, as “nothing but death plan by the government in power to scuttle the results of the election and prevent the APC from taking over the mantle of leadership of the country.” [myad]

PDP Insists General Buhari Should Produce Secondary School Certificat Or Be Disqualified

Femi Fani
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has insisted that the Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari should produce at least secondary school certificate or be disqualified from the Presidential race.
A statement from the Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential campaign organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode said that if General Buhari cannot produce secondary school certificate, “we believe that he is not qualified to run for the Presidency of Nigeria. This is a matter of law and not sentiment. Buhari, just like any other Nigerian, must be compelled to abide by the law and he must prove his eligibility for the Presidential election by simply producing his secondary school certificate.”
Fani-kayode argued that it is disingenuous for Buhari to say that he contested previous elections and that the issue of his qualifications did not arise. He said that if INEC had not complied with the Electoral Act this year, which requires that they paste the academic credentials of all the Presidential candidates, Nigerians would have remained ignorant of the fact that Buhari has probably been submitting affidavits for the past elections.
“The fact that he got away with it in 2003, 2007 and 2011 does not make it right. The minimum that Nigerians require from Buhari is the presentation of his secondary school certificate which enabled him to gain admission into the Nigerian Military College in 1962 and on which basis he became a commissioned officer of the Nigerian Army.
“This forms the fulcrum for the subsequent courses that he attended as he rose in the Army, including the U.S. War College. Failure to produce that school certificate implies that Buhari’s entire career in the Army was based on falsehood which cannot stand. This brings to question the admission system/policy into the Army in the early 1960s.
“Were the rules bent for certain individuals in fulfillment of the quota system? Anyone that reads General Alabi Isama’s book which was published last year will know that this was the case. In fact, Alabi Isama went as far as to allege that some Nigerians were admitted into the military academy without the necessary qualifications like school certificate.
“We believe that Buhari was one of those people and this is why he is unable to produce his certificate. The truth is that he was never qualified for entry into the Military Academy in the first place and consequently he should never have become a commissioned officer let alone a man that rose to the rank of General. At best he ought to have remained a non-commissioned officer.”  [myad]

Yes, Buhari Is Sick, And So Am I, By Vitus Ozoke

Vitus Oke
Nigerians and their infinite capacity for facile propaganda. I wake up this morning and what I see all over social media is some poor taste, childish diagnosis of Major General Muhammadu Buhari as being sick. Well, I agree. I agree that Buhari is sick. I am sick, too.
Any Nigerian who is not sick is not sick because he or she is incurably sick. We are all sick. And we should be sick.
So, yes,… …Buhari is sick of the monumental corruption that has become institutionalized in Nigeria.
Buhari is sick of the incompetence of a government that cannot protect the lives and properties of its citizens; …Buhari is sick of the lack of a sense of urgency in the circles of government in Nigeria.
Buhari is sick of a country that has placed itself on permanent reverse gear.
Buhari is sick of a country that has left itself naked as it is raped dry by vagabonds in power.
Buhari is sick of a youth population without jobs.
Buhari is sick of a country where university education has become comparable to 8th grade competence in advanced civilizations.
Buhari is sick of a country where roads are death traps.
Buhari is sick of a country where people go into political offices near poor, but turn stupendously wealthy overnight.
Buhari is sick of a country where education is priced beyond the reach of the common masses.
Buhari is sick of a country where $20 Billion (possibly $40 Billion) of public fund develops legs and walks away, its whereabouts knowingly unknown.
Buhari is sick of watching the country he loves ranked at the bottom of corruption index by Transparency International.
Buhari is sick of a country that earns billions of dollars in oil revenue, yet has not a single functional oil refinery.
Buhari is sick of a country where government has bowed to the dictates of power generator cabals in a conspiracy that ensures perpetual darkness.
Buhari is sick of a country where senators and congressmen earn more than the president of the United States of America.
Buhari is sick of a country where soldiers are so demoralized to confront a ragtag Boko Haram terror sect.
Buhari is sick of a country where convicted looters are pardoned and fast tracked for senate positions.
Buhari is sick of a country where life expectancy is among the lowest in the world.
Buhari is sick of a country that is on international news for all the wrong reasons.
So, yes, Buhari is sick; and so am I.
The big Question is, why is Jonathan not sick as well? Why has Jonathan remained healthy in the face of all the above-listed filth and diseases?
The Question is why is not every Nigerian sick of all the social maladies and existential outbreaks?
It is a time to be sick, my friends. Buhari is; I am. Are you? Let’s all get sick of where and how Nigeria is! Let’s get real sick!!
And the sicker we are, the healthier we are going to be.  Let’s schedule a doctor’s visit on February 14. Let’s not forget our health insurance card (voter card) as we go for this February appointment. We need to feel better. But until February 14, let’s feel sick… …Real sick!

N10 Cut In Fuel Price Not Enough, Says APC

Garba-Shehu
Garba-Shehu

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organization (APCPCO) has described Sunday night sudden slash in the pump price of premium motor spirit (petrol) as a panicky political measure far too short of the people’s expectation and contrary to the 50 percent relief suggested by the Buhari Team.
Mallam Garba Shehu, Director of Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign said in a statement in Abuja today that “the Jonathan-led PDP government is beginning to listen to public outcry about bad governance, extortion and exploitation of the Nigerian masses in the oil sector where billions of naira is daily being ripped off the pockets of the common men and women through inaccurate pump prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene, despite the dwindling world market prices of these products.”
Garba Shehu faulted both the decrease ratio of N97 to N87 and the timing of the announcement by the Federal Government as “politically motivated, ill-timed and too little, too late.”
He noted that PDP has ran out of ideas for the presidential campaign and has resulted to raking straws from inertia ponds, adding: “this measure is not different from the President’s belated visit to a few places in the North East, a region which has been ravaged and devastated by Boko Haram’s brigandage, a situation to which the number one citizen seemed to be oblivious of until recently.
“The oil price decline is 55% and the cut in the pump price is 11%. The argument is that devaluation which is approximately 10% should be factored in. “However, the timing and the inadequate price cut smacks of incompetence, insincerity and desperation,” the APC Campaign Spokesman said.
According to him, the US has witnessed price cuts in excess of 50% from $4.00 to $2.00 which translates into 50c per litre or N60 per litre, including state taxes. “How can petrol in the US be 25% cheaper than in Nigeria? It just does not make sense. This is too little too late. The alternative will be to further reduce petrol prices and overhaul the subsidy system which is a cesspool of fraud, money laundering and imperfect market structures.”
Garba Shehu questioned the motive and  justification for a mere N10 cut in petrol price considering that global price of crude oil per barrel on which the pricing of petroleum products is predicated, has plummeted from $105 to $50.
“How did they calculate the ratio? Aside, if the new price took effect from 18th January, 2015 what happens to the backlog that has existed since December? Will the Minister and her boss give coupons to Nigerians to fill their tanks to make up for the arrears? Or who is benefiting from this windfall?”
He warned that any attempt by the ruling party to make a political gain out of this natural economic phenomenon of demand and supply would hit the wrong notes with the voters come February 14.
