No fewer than 13,107 Nigerian Muslims have so far been airlifted to Saudi Arabia from various Nigerian airports for the 2019 pilgrimage, beginning in the second week of August.
Information from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) today, July 20, said that Flynas airline departed to Madinah by 11.28 last night (July 19) with 431 intending pilgrims from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) even as Medview airline departed from Kaduna for Jeddah by 4.00 this morning (July 20) with 545 intending pilgrims.
The statement said that so far, 27 flights have been operated, airlifting intending pilgrims from more than 12 states.
The airlift began on Saturday, last week, July13.
