In a statement today, Nosike said that the FCT Original Inhabitants Youths and Women Empowerment Association commended the Minister for listening to the voice of Abuja natives and others to shelve his gubernatorial bid.
According to him, the President of the association, Commandant Isaac David also praised President Goodluck Jonathan for reposing confidence in the Bauchi-born Minister.
The FCT native youths, he said, described the Minister’s dropping of his governorship bid as an outstanding act of patriotism and sacrifice. He said that they saw Bala’s act as being in national interest even as they pledged the support of the vast majority of FCT indigenes for the Minister and the President as they implement the transformation agenda.
