Buhari Felicitates With Pastor Kumuyi At 78, Sympathizes With Bereaved Ilorin Emir

President Buhari and Pastor Kumuyi in a warm handshake

President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi of Deeper Life Bible Church as he turns 78 years old even as he sympathized with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari over the death of his mother, Alhaja Aishat Nma Sulukarnaini Gambari

The President, in a birthday message, recalled his meeting with Pastor Kumuyi, who he described as “respected cleric” at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, in October last year, during which the Pastor shared deep insights about the country, and how he prayed with him, and for the entire country, particularly in respect of the then forthcoming general elections.

The President applauded the divine wisdom, and temperate nature, which Pastor Kumuyi exudes at all times, and prayed that God will give him longer life, and greater grace to serve God and humanity.

And a condolence message to Ilorin Emirate Council, President Buhari said that late Aishat Nma’s love and kindness transcended the palace walls, reaching the poor and underprivileged.

According to Buhari late Alhaja Aishat Nma’s virtuosity will be greatly remembered by all those who met, stayed and lived with her, even as he said that her life typified a fear and love for Allah that was clearly demonstrated in her humility, generosity, wise counsels and warmth to both family and strangers.

The President advised the royal family to find solace in the will of Allah and take pride in the legacies of the Emir’s mother, who was born into a life of privileges and opportunities, but consistently remained relevant to her community and nation in rendering services to humanity.

Expressing his sympathy to the Emir and members of the royal family, the Kwara State Government and indigenes over the loss, the President prayed to Allah to grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
