Buhari To Oshiomhole At 69: Eschew Politics Of Division, Acrimony

President Muhammadu Buhari has advised the immediate past national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC0, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to eschew politics of division and acrimony, as he celebrates his 69th birthday.

In a message of solidarity by the senior special assistant to the President on media and publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, Buhari called on Oshiomhole to rededicate his life to working for the prosperity of those in need, building bridges among people of diverse backgrounds and faith; and inspiring others to be patriotic, eschewing politics of division and acrimony.

President Buhari also recognizes the immense contributions the former national chairman has made to the nation, even as he wished him more years of service to build a better country.

He thanked God for Oshiomhole, who is former Edo State Governor, for a life of service to the nation, good health and opportunity to commemorate this special day.

President Buhari reminded Oshiomhole that he would soon join the club of septuagenarians.
