The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), has shut down all schools in Abuja.
Also shut down are shopping malls and big business outlets that have no sanitizers and other safety measures against coronavirus.
A statement from the authority said that the closure of schools is with effect from tomorrow, 20th March, 2020.
It said that social and religious activities have also been restricted.
“Shopping malls and other large business premises without sanitizers and other safety measures are to be shut down immediately.”
