Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has fine-tuned President Muhammadu Buhari’s lockdown order imposed on the state for the purpose of controlling coronavirus spread.The Governor, in a statement today, May 2, said that two days have been set out in a week for purchases during the lockdown period. The two days are Mondays and Thursday.Ganduje said that no markets will be allowed to open unless supermarkets, adding that the list of the supermarkets would be announced on local radio stations.He said that only Yankaba Market where perishable items are sold, and Yan Lemo Market would be allowed to operate on Mondays and Thursdays 10am to 4pm.
