Deposed Kano Emir, Muhammad Sanusi II has gone to court to challenge his dethronement and banishment by the Kano state government in court.The ex-monarch made this known through his lawyer, Abubakar Mahmoud (SAN) in a briefing today, March 10 in Abuja.
He said the restriction of the Emir’s movement and his dethronement were unlawful and gross violation of his human rights.
