Ebira Kingmakers, in Kogi State, have selected five candidates from over 70 that applied for the throne of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, which became vacant with the death of its occupant, Alhaji, Dr. Ado Ibrahim on October 29, this year.
Those who have emerged from the pack from where the King will be finally picked for crowning are the former Clerk of the National Assembly, Barrister Ataba Sanni Omolori (from Okengwe Royal District) and former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Dr. Phillips Omeiza Salawu (from Ihima Royal District).
Others are Barrister Momohsanni Shuaibu (from Okengwe Royal District); Engineer/Professor Ibrahim Onuwe Abdulmalik (from Eika Royal District) and Alhaji, Dr. Ahmed Tijani Mohammed Anaje (from Okengwe Royal District).
