Former Leader of the Senate, Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN), has drummed support for President Muhammadu Buhari, asking Nigerians to support him and be patience.
Ndoma-Egba said with the necessary support from Nigerians, the administration will succeed in getting the country out of the economic difficulties it is grappling with.
Ndoma-Egba made the call in Calabar today during an interview session with journalists on some issues of national importance.
Though the former senate leader admitted that Nigerians were going through some hard times, he pointed out that whatever pains they were passing through was ephemeral because of the reforms of the rot in the nation’s economy that has accumulated for years.
“I concede that there is a lot of hardship, but that hardship is not something that is created overnight. It is an accumulated circumstance.
“Things cannot get better without them getting worse. It’s like a seed when planted; it gets rotten before it geminates. We are in that process of germinating. So, the long and short of my summation is that we need to give support to President Buhari, and show some patience,” Ndoma-Egba said. [myad]
