Former Editor of THISDAY on Sunday, Mr. Tunde Rahman has announced the official launching of his newspaper, Western Post, tomorrow, September 15 in Ibadan.
In a statement today, the seasoned journalist said that the launching will take place at the civic center hall of Bashorun Agodi in the GRA, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
According to the statement, besides launching, there would be debate whose topic is: The dwindling oil revenue: A case for regional integration.
It named the Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi as Chairman of the occasion with the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola serving as Special Guest of Honour while the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi will be the royal father of the day.
Other Guests include the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki; the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yusuf Suleiman Lasun; the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko; the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose; the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun; and the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
