Former CAN Boss Dies, Jonathan Mourns

Former Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the South-South Zone, Apostle Geoffrey Dabibi Numbere is dead, even as President Goodluck Jonathan grieved over his death.
Apostle Geoffrey Dabibi Numbere who is the Founder and General Overseer of Greater Evangelism World Crusade Ministries International, died today in Rivers state.
In a condolence message to Apostle Numbere’s wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Nonyem Numbere, his children, relatives and members of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade Church, the President described the deceased as a revered spiritual leader.
According to Jonathan, the enormous impact which Apostle Numbere had on the moral and social development of millions of Nigerians and non-Nigerians will be greatly missed.
The President who also commiserated with the people of Rivers State on the loss of Apostle Numbere, prayed to God to receive Apostle Numbere’s soul and grant him eternal rest from his diligent labour in the Lord’s Vineyard.
