Nurses serving in the General Hospital of Kuje Area Council have emerged the best amongst others across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the health care delivery.
An award insignia from the FCTA Hospitals Management Board Nursing Department tagged it: “award of Efficiency and Responsiveness.”
It said that the award has been conferred on Nurses in Kuje General Hospital “in recognition of their exceptional synergy, responsiveness and unwavery commitment to administrative excellence.”
It added: “with coordinated teamwork, effective and swift action, the (Nursing) unit has consistently upheld the highest standard, setting a benchmark for health care delivery within the federal capital Territory for the 2025.”
The award, dated March 31, 2026 was signed by the Director of Nursing Services in the Board.
There are 14 general hospitals in the six Area Councils of the federal capital city, each with no fewer than 100 serving nurses.
Meanwhile, the winning Kuje Nurses are already patting one another on the back for the feat even as they prayed that the authority would reward them for their dedication to the service of the health care delivery of the FCT Administration, led by Minister Barrister Nyeson Wike.
