Jailbreak In Kogi: 200 Prisoners Involved As Building Collapses

No fewer than 200 prisoners took the advantage of the collapse of the corerectional centre at Koton Karf,,  in  Kogi local government of Kogi state escape today, October 28 in the  early morning downpour
A prison source however confirmed that 100 of the inmates have been rearrested, while unspecified number voluntarily returned.
The rain was said to have started at about 2 am and lasted till early morning, leading to massive flood that destroyed many houses.
The acting Chief Immam of Koton-Karfi central mosque, Saidu Suleiman, Nuhu said that the rain led to River Osugu overflowing its embankment and destroyed many houses.
