Executives of the two labour centres, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have called off the nationwide warning strike.The suspension followed a firm commitment from the federal government to reopen negotiations in the national minimum wage tripartite committee, chaired by former minister of housing and urban development, Mrs Ma Pepple.
The two labour union called out Nigerian workers on one week warning strike to compel the Federal government to effect a new minimum wage for workers across the board.
