Atiku announced the name of Peter Obi shortly he held a closed door meeting with him. Obi was believed to be the preferred choice of both the party and the presidential candidate as well as stakeholders in the party and outside it.
It was gathered that Obi’s name and that of Atiku will be sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) next week.
