President Muhammadu Buhari has confirmed the appointment of the Minister of transport, Chief Rotimi Amaechi as Secretary/Director General of his campaign organisation for the 2019 Presidential election.Amaechi, a former two term governor of Rivers State, was also the Director General of the Buhari-Osinbajo Presidential Campaign Committee in 2014-2015 that won the elections and brought the current administration into office.
The new Director General has been given the mandate to announce the names of other appointments into the campaign structure as approved by President Buhari soon.
