President Muhammad Buhari is expected to arrived Akure, the Ondo state capital on Wednesday, November 3 for the launching of the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu.
A statement by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya, said that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun; the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki; and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara; and all the APC state governors would also be present.
He said that already a 30-man Local Organising committee for the campaign has been inaugurated. The committee is headed by Agboola Ajayi.
The governorship election will take place on November 26. [myad]
