There was wild jubilation in Jalingo, Taraba state capital today, as the Taraba Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja, declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the 2015 governorship election the winner of the election even as it sent the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate who has been in the control of the affairs of the state, Mr. Darius Ishaku packing.
Although policemen were deployed in strategic locations in the state to ensure that law and order are maintained, some people took to the streets at Angwan Gaadi, Barde Way, Wuro-Sambo and Angwani, celebrating the Tribunal’s judgment. [myad]
