The mainstream PDP reacted to the emergence of a factional group, by insisting that it will not be distracted by it.
The PDP’s national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondinyan, in a statement today, Wednesday, said that PDP is unperturbed by the development.
Earlier in the day, a group led by one Emmanuel Nwosu, at a press conference in Abuja, announced the formation of ‘Fresh PDP’ which he said is the authentic one.
Nwosu, who spoke in the secretariat, opened for the splinter group, at Tito Broz Street, off Jimmy Carter street, Asokoro, Abuja, complained that the emergence of the Prince Uche Secondus-led National Working Committee, (NWC) at the December 9 national convention would not stand. He called for the nullification of the party’s convention.[myad]
