Member representing Munsawa/Matazu Federal Constituency of Katsina State in the House of Representatives, Ibrahim Muritala, has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ibrahim Muritala’s notice of defection was contained in a letter read by Speaker Yakubu Dogara at the floor of the House at the beginning of the plenary today, Tuesday.
In the letter, Ibrahim Muritala acknowledged that he was now happy to leave the “crisis ridden” APC for the PDP family.
The PDP members in the House went wild with joy immediately the announcement was made by chanting the party PDP’s slogan.
