Presidential Poll: I’m Patiently Waiting For INEC Results – Buhari

President Buhari departs Daura Katsina State, Arrives Abuja after the Presidential and National Assembly Elections on 25th Feb 2019

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he is patiently waiting for the results of the Saturday, February 23 Presidential election from the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC).

The president, who returned to Abuja today, Monday from his Daura, Katsina State country home where he cast his vote, told newsmen that he would not like to depend on rumours.
“I don’t want to depend on rumours, but we will rather wait for INEC to announce the results.”
Buhari expressed happiness that his government was able to provide adequate resources and logistics, including security for Nigerians to cast their votes “for whichever party and candidates they wanted.”
