Security operatives have shut down the head office of the Leadership Newspapers located in Utako, Abuja over 100 million Naira debt.
It was gathered that the Newspapers company is indebted to one Senator Isah from Niger State.
The operatives working under a court order, said they were mandated to shut down the office and take possession of all the Leadership’s property, including all vehicles within the premises. Already, about six vehicles have been towed away by the assigned officers.
It was learnt that the official vehicle of the General Editor has equally been towed away by the officers. No comment is coming from the Police circle on the incidence as the press time. [myad]
