Governor Yari, who spoke to news men today, Thursday shortly after an audience with President Buhari explained that his called for a state of emergency was in support of some politicians who have been calling for the same, saying that he is ready to sacrifice his position as governor for the purpose of ensuring security for the people in the state.
The governor hoped that if the security agencies are serious, the insecurity in the state would soon be brought under control.
“There is no place being occupied by the armed bandits in Zamfara state. They live and operate in the forest. They strike and run. Most of the camps are known by locals.”
