For the first time since Sanusi Lamido Sanusi became Emir of Kano in what actually was a controversial circumstance, President Goodluck Jonathan, who obviously was a public opponent, hosted him (the new Emir, now called Muhammadu Sanusi II) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, among other top Northern traditional rulers, including the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammed Sa’ad Abubakar III yesterday. It was an occasion of breaking the Muslim Fast with the President.
