Guidna Central Mosque, Abuja Announces Death Of Member

The Chairman of the Guidna Central Mosque Management Committee, Alhaji Shittu Ahmed Obassa has announced the death of the member of the Mosque, Alhaji Suleiman Ayinde-Oba which occurred on Tuesday this week.

Obassa, who made this known to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday, Thursday, said that Suleiman Ayinde-Oba died after a brief illness at the age of 77.

The deceased, according to the chairman, was a motor dealer with Freedom Motors at Kubwa by Expressway in the FCT, saying that he was survived by three wives, one of whom is a Sokoto-based Customs officer and 13 children, among whom is a Kano-based industrialist, Alhaji Adebayo Suleiman Ayinde-Oba.

Obassa said that the remains of deceased who hailed from Pakata Quarters in Ilorin, Kwara State, have since been buried at Guidna Cemetery according to the wish of the family.

Sympathizers, friends and associates attended the funeral. They included the Chief of Guidna Village, Malam Umar Danladi, Ustaz Mohammed Ibrahim and Ustaz Abdulmalik Bello. [myad]
