Nigeria women’s U20 team, the Falconets, today at the National Stadium, Abuja, scaled through to the next round of the qualifying tournament for next year’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea after a 14-1 aggregate win over Liberia.
The Nigerian girls trashed Liberia 7-0, having won the first leg in Liberia 7-1.
Aminat Yakubu and Joy Bokiri scored a brace each with hat-trick heroine from the first leg. Adeboyejo also got on the score sheet, so also Chinansa Uchendu and Amarachi Ojiinma.
