I Am A Man, Bobrisky Tells Court

Popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, AKA Bobrisky, has openly confirmed that he is a man in a court hearing on naira abuse charges.
The cross-dresser was arraigned in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a four-count charge, including damaging banknotes of the Naira currency, amounting to N490,000 (Four Hundred and Ninety Thousand Naira).
The Judge, Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos, sentenced him to six months in prison without the option of a fine.
Before announcing the sentence, Judge Awogboro was reported to have asked about Bobrisky’s gender, to which he quickly responded: “I am a man.”
His response is believed to have attracted online reactions from the citizens who expressed their opinions.
One of it was from someone who wrote: “Chai! EFCC don return our brother back to Brotherhood. He now declared that he is a man. Senior man at that.”
Bobrisky had gained popularity on the internet by identifying as a transgender woman. His fame stemmed from his daring and extravagant style, makeup tutorials, and outspoken opinions on various social issues.
