A man whose name was given as Ugwu Lawlence has been arrested by security operatives in Abuja in connection with Boko Haram activities.
According to the security sources, Lawlence, a Christian from the Southern part of the country is said to specialize in
Sending out text messages to public places posing as Boko Haram member and threatening to bomb such places.
The suspect “was tracked by security operatives after dispatching text messages of impending bombings of some hotels in Abuja,” the source said.
Lawlence was said to have created a lot of panics amongst the residents of the federal capital, even as he reportedly confessed that he employed the gimmick because the management of one of the organizations failed to offer him employment.
