You have, indeed, provided a road map for better Kogi Central and for the entire State generally.
Our setbacks in the Senatorial District lie in the fact that many of the present political actors do not show any links whatsoever between them and Egbira Land. Not even in the immediate community that raised them from cradle.
For instance, how can any reasonable excuse be given for the non-availability of portable drinking water in a small place like Agassa community, for the eight years that former Governor Yahaya Bello was in charge of the State? That is a place in which he was born and grew up? How? And where is the love for community and the locals with whom he shared his early life sojourn?
Additionally, what exactly is the condition of Upogoro community where the current Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo lived his early life? Is there any portable water provided for the people in that small enclave? This is even granting the excuse that providing portable water for Okene Local Government Area and or the whole of Egbira land is too large for them.
Where is the love and sense of attachment between these two individuals on the one hand, and the rest of Kogi Central in the area of the provision of basic needs since the past 13 years?
This is a confirmation that, really, we have serious problems on our hands. My dear brother, this is a big challenge we are facing.
