Presidency Gives Names Of 21 Chibok Girls Released By Boko Haram

The Presidency has given out the names of the 21 Chibok school girls released by Boko Hara mealier today, Thursday.

Presidential spokesperson, Malam Garba Shehu, released the names today, Thursday after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo met with them.

Twenty one out of the more than 200 kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls held since April 2014 were released today, Thursday following  negotiations between the Buhari-led government and the the Boko Haram, brokered by the International Red Cross and the Swiss government.

The names of the girls are:

  6. Maryam Basheer
  7. Comfort Amos
  8. Glory Mainta
  9. Saratu Emannuel

  12. Helen Musa
  13. Maryamu Lawan
  14. Rebecca Ibrahim
  15. Asabe Goni
  16. Deborah Andrawus
  17. Agnes Gapani
  18. Saratu Markus
  19. Glory Dama
  20. Pindah Nuhu
