Governorship candidates of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including Muhammed Abacha for Kano, have started emerging in many States of the federation ahead of the next year’s elections.
The governorship candidates emerged after thre conduct of the primary ahead of the party’s Special National Convention during which its presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections will be elected.
However, states like Imo is yet to conduct its governorship primary due to issue with its delegates list while the PDP in Ogun State conducted two different primary elections.
